NARS Sheer Glow Foundation
Even though it’s called cover-up, a good foundation should highlight your skin’s true beauty not mask it. I was desperately in need of just this type of magical foundation, one that wasn’t too cakey, would give me medium coverage, but also a nice glow. So, I headed to the makeup Mecca Sephora in Boston’s Prudential Center.
Sephora is THE place to buy foundation. The number of options can be daunting. But Sephora removes the overwhelming hunt with an extensive searchable database of makeup that plays makeup matchmaker to find your perfect catch!
I met a nice makeup artist named Alan in the front of the store. I told him about my foundation quest, upon which Alan sat me in a chair and asked me what type of coverage I wanted.
My answer? One that would make my skin look great of course!
Alan inputted the data into the computer. He then used an electronic wand to check my skintone. Then the super makeup computer generated my ideal foundation- NARS Sheer Glow Foundation.
He sampled two different shades. We decided Punjab, Medium 1 was the right number for me. At $47.00 it’s also half the cost of my previous foundation. I hope this photo isn’t frighteningly close, but I really wanted to show the nice glow and coverage the NARS Sheer Glow Foundations gives. It’s definitely my new favorite.
