Isn’t it awesome to see business owner’s working together to create something cool? It certainly makes us feel all warm and fuzzy! If you want that warm and fuzzy feeling too, then block off November 17th on your calendar!
That’s when award-winning style curators Jill Goldberg of Hudson Interior Design and Orly Khon of Orly Khon Floral are joining forces to teach a class on how to create festive vignettes.
The pair came up with the idea based on the book, The Giving Tree. As kids, they both developed the association of gratitude with something green and life-giving after reading the classic book. Since November is the month of thanks, the two women-owned businesses are celebrating this sentiment with a co-designed window installation at the Hudson location (12 Union Park Street) and then sharing their knowledge by co-teaching Vignette 101; a class on how to create festive vignettes to celebrate the season featuring greenery and objects.
For $25.00, not only will you learn how to create your own work of green art, but you’ll also enjoy a lovely bread, cheese, and olive oil bar by the Olive Connection.
Additionally, you can get a little holiday shopping done; either a gorgeous Hudson vessel with Orly’s special greens or maybe even a luscious bottle of hand-crafted olive oil!
