As I have blogged before about my obsession with coats and jackets, I also have a slight obsession with boots and sunglasses. I am endlessly looking for the perfect pair of sunglasses. I was pleased to be contacted by the marketing group at Warby Parker to help spread the word about their exciting collaboration with Supermodel Karlie Kloss. Pleased for a few reasons.

In celebration of their partnership, they are donating to an organization dear to Karlie called Edible Schoolyard NYC. This organization provides low-income public schools with kitchens and gardens, and students, through a hands-on curriculum led by Edible Schoolyard staff, learn the tools to develop lifelong healthy habits. The donation will benefit two community farm stands in Brooklyn and East Harlem, where kids learn about food preparation in their own neighborhoods. And as always, for every pair sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.
